'The Omnipotent Wage' - album review

Our favourite Reading punks Lee, Alex & Seb have just released new album 'The Omnipotent Wage'.

Their trademark punchy, socio-political anthems are captured perfectly in the studio without losing their live energy and character. (Hats off to Alex for doing the recording, mix and production!)

Lee’s clever lyrical play and fast paced modern poetry work so well in this genre, showcased in standout tracks 'Plastic Fruit' and 'Warnography'. These tracks feel like the perfect combination of the darker electronic elements of Lee’s solo work, mixed with the tasty bite of LC.

'Hedge Fundamentalism' and 'Science Friction' are also highlights, bringing pure punk rock angst which LC do SO WELL.

I also wanted to mention the striking animated promo artwork, which has been different for several tracks and is a super cool detail.

The album launch party is on10th October at the Outlook Reading, with support from Tape It Shut, Barrelhaus and Phelim Mader. 7.30pm. Free entry. Do not miss out!
