'This website is dedicated to the music scene in the Reading area. 

Covid halted most live gigs in March 2020 however musicians have still been creating some amazing music behind closed doors and here is the place to find it.

There are interviews with several incredibly talented acts who are regulars on the music scene, so you can find out what they have been doing during lockdown.  All 2020 new releases are listed, links for live streams and virtual festivals.

I will continue to update the site, so please keep an eye on the Instagram page for updates on features, reviews and links to new releases.

 

I've missed attending and playing gigs, it's good to be part of that community! Hopefully this website will keep us connected and up to date with all the awesome music Reading produces, until we can safely start gigging again.'

Updated February 2023 - 'I wrote the above Introduction in January 2021 thinking this website would be around a couple of months in lockdown but here we are starting 2023 and I'm still talking to the many talented musicians the RG area has in abundance! I hope you discover some amazing music here!'
